I'd like to see them offer a .22 LR conversion kit for their M&P pistols. I have one for my Glock 30, Sig P220 and Colt G.M. With the cost of ammuntion, it would be a great addition to their line.

An M&P conversion would be interesting if reasonably priced and well executed.

I agree, I would like to see them make one for their 1911 as well

There are PLENTY of .22 lr conversions that fit the S&W 1911's. I've had several and still keep this one on a dedicated S&W frame.

actually, even though the ship sailed long ago i think it would have been great if smith offered 22 conversions for the earlier 39/59 series and the old large frame 45/10mm autos.

You guys get your wish. Smith .22LR M&P unveiled at SHOT Show. The SKU's are 122000 for the 10 shot and 222000 for the 12 shot. They have a 4.1" barrel and a thumb safety.
