Been admiring the 2206 for awhile on gun broker. Finally found a super clean one in a local shop with original box. It was listed at $529 but I talked them down to $450. Any other fans of this pistol? Have not made it to the range yet

I have seen a few 220x series pistols at the firing line for bullseye competition.

I beg you, don't bash me, but I figure either a Ruger, or step up to a 41/46. If you want a pistol to use and use and use, Either a Ruger or the 41/46. Or plan on having a back-up.

I compete with a modified Ruger Mark III, and have an original 22/45 as a back-up. No one gives me grief if I am forced to swap as the 22/45 isn't as "refined" and doesn't give me an unfair advantage.

That being said, if my partner gave me a 2206 as a birthday or X Mas present, I'd cry and be very happy.

Congratulations on the great find. Yes the 2206's are much coveted. There is even a FaceBook page dedicated to this S&W family of pistols. Post pictures when you get them...and a range report.

Not a great photo but here is My 2206. I grabbed it at a local gun show a few years ago like new in the box with two 10rnd. Mags for $275
It’s a pretty accurate gun shooting CCI standard ammo

Indigo22! Like those Pac's. I was not aware they existed for that series of pistol. I will be shopping for some for my small collection of 2206's.

When I bought mine ( pictured above) I was given the opportunity to also purchase the 4” version For the same price along with it. That one was also LNIB. I didn’t have the extra cash on me at the time, so I passed. Looking back I see what a numbskull thing that was to do.
