Gonna add one or the other to the stable when I find a good deal. Is there really any difference between the two other than blue/black versus stainless.

OK-Gunbroker got me. 2214 with original case and 2 magazines. Gun is definitely a shooter, not a collector. But I am OK with that. Could have bought a 2213 for about the same price in better shape but no box or second magazine.

I suspect you already know this but it’s solid info for anyone that may not know this…

All of the 2213/2214/422/622 are alloy frame pistols — in different finish COLORS, but not different physical make-up.

So it kind of makes them like the 469/669 or the 6904/6906. I think it’s an important distinction that the difference is not like the 5904/5906.

I guess that’s a longer way of answering your question about the difference between the 2213 and 2214 — you are correct, there is VERY little difference, whereas with the 5904/5906, the 5904 is lightweight alloy frame but the 5906 is a seriously heavy chunk of stainless steel and the two feel quite differently.

NOTE that the more scarce 2206 is the very different pistol that is made of all stainless. The difference between my 2206 and 422 (both 6-inch barrel) is very, very noticeable, much more than I expected.
