My 2206 dislikes feeding econo-box ammo and loves Federal Auto Match.

Besides these, I have owned two other 4.5" #422 pistols. All of mine (except 4.5" #2206, which is relatively new to me) eat anything I feed them, though some loads are more accurate than others. ONE exception to this remark is some Federal bulk ammo I bought years ago for about $5.00 per brick, I had four or five bricks. I would get five or more failures to fire out of each box of that ammo from all my S&W pistols, a Air Lite revolver, High Standard Sentinel, and a Astra Constable. I gave most of that away, keeping less than one brick.

Ironically, I bought a H&R #12 .22 target rifle last year which LOVES that Federal ammo. It has never failed to ignite one of those cartridges, and groups it extremely well...I think I have four boxes left.

Two complaints about these guns. Gunleather is non-existant and the black finish will come off if you look at those guns hard.

A reading according to SCSW III (page 283) puts the top price on a Model 2213 at $250. For what it is worth, you can get a new 22A or 22S for less than that.

Ah, another pistol that, like the idiot I am, got sold off a few years ago. Mine ran smoothest with high velocity ammo (no issues-100% reliable) Remington in particular.

The last one I saw in the Denver area was in excellent condition, in the box w/all docs, nylon carry bag and holster. It sold for $300.

I have a 2214, the blued version of the 2213, bought it new, never had any issues, it shoots Winchester super x very nicely. It has a decent trigger, and seems pretty accurate for it's small size.
I wouldn't sell mine for 250.00, or 300.00 for that matter, I like it !

I have a 2213, no issues at all with feeding. it is the best operating 22 rimfire i have ever owned.
