2214 Range Report

Well I have had the 2214 out to the range twice now. Very nice shooting pocket gun. Great trigger. It came with 2 magazines, one that I think came with the gun originally which shows some signs of use and one that looks almost unused. I was having some issues with the unused one not letting the slide to close all the way on some shots. A quick push with the thumb and slide closed and ready to shoot. It seemed that the magazine spring was too strong and holding the round in the magazine. I thought about filing the lips a little, but after the second session today it was working much better and I think I will just store it full to take some of the starch out of the spring. Also I haven't been able to load 8 in the mag.

How many rounds are you able to get into the 8 round mag? What color follower does it have?

I can get 7 in. The follower seems to be bottomed out when trying to load the 8th. Followers are orange.

I too can only get 7 rounds in my two factory magazines. Mine also have orange followers.

I thought it was just me, so it’s nice to hear someone else can’t get 8 rounds to fit either!

I also put in a new Wolff rebound spring, no problems with short cycling with either magazine.
