I think you meant to say extractor, not ejector. Where is it hitting the slot? (high or low - I'll bet that its high). The extractor has no adjustment - the problem is caused by the lack of rails to control the up/down movement of the slide. And believe me there is lots of up/down slop in the slide! If it is hitting high, you can disassemble the slide, remove the plastic/nylon assembly that holds the firing pin and extractor. Remove it by pushing it out with a punch (you may have to tap it with a hammer) through the disassembly slot in the bottom of the slide. Cut a shim out of a plastic milk bottle (its about .025" thick) or similar non-absorbant material. Cut the shim to lay flat in the area of the slide that the firing pin assembly fits. Replace the assembly pressing it firmly into place. The top of the firing pin assembly housing should now stand about .020" proud of the top of the slide. This will bear against the bottom of the sight rail and hold the slide downward by a like amount , thereby aligning the extractor with the extractor slot. You may have to vary the thickness of the shim depending on your particular guns tolerances. I've fixed several 22A's using this method.
