I was looking through my Cabela's shooting catalog to see if they had any 22LR ammo deals and came across some 22LR tracer ammo. It is made by "Piney Mountain". It is expensive, $22 for 50 rounds, $100 for 250 rounds.
Has anyone ever tried these?

We shot a few boxes at Knob Creek last spring in a couple of different semi-auto rifles and handguns.

Was quite reliable for us and the trace surprisingly bright and long lived for such a tiny bullet. Expensive yes but most reliable tracer is these days.

Fun to shoot and I expect to buy more in a couple of weeks.

thanks, I was thinking of trying them and maybe using them for "night time" varmit hunting or for just plain fun
