A dear friend of mine loaned me his complete set of this program. My question is....do story lines and plots EVER resolve? Seems like a never ending story of who is or is not a mole.

I am at hour 9 of Season one...

Yes, although some of the moles' story lines span multiple seasons. As with most TV shows, some seasons are better than others. You might also get a kick out of identifying various firearms used by the characters, especially during the middle of the show's run. On the whole, I found '24' to be well worth watching and the entire DVD/BluRay set, including the spin-off movies, resides in my permanent collection of over 2,000 movies and TV series.

Was too frenetic for me. I bailed after an hour or so. (Then again, I'm the kinda guy that likes those slow moving canal journey shows on Amazon Prime.)

I like the show, although they take liberties with travel time and distances. Jack really moves around quick. After 24 hours, I doubt all those suits would look so pristine. The techno-blather is pretty hilarious.

If the amount of loose ends over time bothers you, don't get the boxed set of Babylon 5. ;)

My advice: do not listen to the commentary track until you have finished the entire season. There are spoilers in there. I found out the hard way.
