25-3 45 colt 6 1/2" shoots high at 25 yards. With the rear sight all the way down I have to use a 6 o:clock hold on NRA 25yrd target. Can't complain as I am hitting 8 9 and 10 rings. Problem is I prefer my guns to be poa = poi. 8 grains of Unique with Lyman 255gr lswc. I changed from a .136 to a .128 blade without much change. Going to a .106 If that isn't the fix what else can I try. From the time I was in my 30's untill this year I have been shooting a 29 but at 61 the 25 is a little kinder on the joints. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If it's shooting high your only choices are a shorter rear sight, taller front sight, a little more velocity for that weight bullet or a lighter bullet with the same powder charge.
I have seen (rarely) a gun that just won't shoot poa. (they get new homes)
