Hey guys, I was wondering what kind of box a Model 25-5 would have came from the factory in? Also, what about a 19-5? Im looking to buy these guns and was hoping maybe I could just buy the gun and put it in an original box for my own collection. I see all different kinds of the boxes, wood, 2 piece cardboard, one piece cardboard and its a little confusing. Thanks for the help.

The one piece blue w/ white lettering, and cardboard insert. I still have mine in its original box.

Mine came in wood presentation cases. The dealers tossed any cardboard boxes they may have come in.

Buff is correct in that the first 4 years of production could have come in a presentation case. If you have a pinned barrel, there is a good chance it did come in a presentation case. Sorry for any confusion, I should have been more thorough in my original reply.

Those made after '82 would have been in the box I mentioned.
