No, those are not phillips head screws,I think that is a reflection from the flash.Not so good at close-ups. They are original S&W slotted screws.
Box and grips numbered to gun; DOB 1968 or 1969. Beautiful checkering and deep blue as only the older ones were. Fancy large style old ampersand, 98% or better. Very slight turn line with cleaning kit and sight adjust tool. Hard to find one as nice. Nice addition to someones' collection. $1575 shipped to your FFL. e-mail for additional pics.
