27-2 4" found today

Don't have my SCS&W handy...... -3s loses the P&R'ed.......... but isn't the -4 still before MIM, Lock and floating firing pin changes????

I don't see any MIM changes in the 4th SC. Model 27 discontinued in 1994. The -4 is 1988-1990 years. It says "new yoke retention system/radius stud package/floating hand"

I probably would have bought it for that price,but I don't have a 4" model 27.

Edit:Just wanted to add that I heavily prefer pre lock to lock versions so yeah that's a good price to me considering. Would be a steal however for a nice original dash 2 pinned/recessed (which I really like too).

A -2 would have been instant buy; a -4, I'd have to be in the market for a 4" 27.

A -2 P&R'ed would be my preference also...... but the 4" 27-2s were only made a couple of years 79-82...... the one I found dated to 82 and was recessed but not pinned..........

What am I missing????? a nice 4" 27 at a price less than the last nice 28 I saw for sale (which was $599)!

Just bought a 4" -3.

Not P&R, but everything else that makes them desirable.

MIM and the lock kills it for me.
