I have to respectfully disagree with that statement. You could certainly sell a grip-less M27 with the desirable four inch barrel for more than $500. Ditto for 3.5" and 5" barrels. At least here in the Classifieds you could. I would certainly like to know where to get that kind of deal.

Assuming that "a typical model 27" is in decent mechanical and cosmetic condition.
