Here is a 5" 27-2 made in 1973. Seller says the gun was never shot outside the factory but I don't believe that since there is a turn line in the cylinder.

It comes with the wood box, tools, and papers. Spent more than I wanted to, but I haven't seen a nice 27 in my birth year before.

Very nice looking gun. The turn line does not always indicate firing as the previous owner may have dry-fired the gun a fair amount causing the line. A better indication the gun was fired is the condition of the recoil shield, front of the cylinder or condition of the frame above the forcing cone.

That is true. I attached a few pictures that show that those parts to be in good condition. Too bad about the turn line though. Can't wait to pick her up next week from the FFL.

If you're gonna shoot it, the turn line doesn't mean a thing. Great catch. Enjoy!

I agree. Shoot the heck outta that beauty. It will still look beautiful even after a few thousand rounds if you do good maintenance on it. Turn lines are love lines IMO.

That's the problem. I have four .357 magnums, which I think is quite a few .357 magnums but compared to some people I don't. I don't shoot as much as I like, and I would probably have to put them in a rotation so some don't feel neglected. lol.

My favorite so far is the 4" 681-1M, but I haven't shot the 27-2 or 28-2 yet. The 6" 586 is nice as well.

Nice looking 27-2! Great shape. Some folks manage a turn without shooting. I've seen worse new in a counter at the LGS.
