I’ve been looking for a 27-2 that I foolishly sold off years ago but ran into a beautiful 6” 98%+ 27-3. A slight turn line and a couple mark on the cylinder face. Other than that, pristine. Priced at $900! I’m thinking about $200 too high. I just don’t see them around much.

sounds about right these days. For a private sale maybe a bit high. I see 3rd change 29s from 1300 to 1500 on G.I. ,figure a bit less for a 27. That said i have noticed Smith prices are taking off like a rocket. I wouldnt be able to buy today what I bought just last year. Crazy prices

Grab what you want when we see it. I said this decades ago any n frame under $1,000 is a steal in excellent condition. Prices do seem steady for a while but so we’re the python prices too. It’s a buyers market but that can change too.

Here’s my m27-2 $795 I paid shes 99.99% condition. The m27-2 blued / $795, m28-0 / m28-2 were $695. Were under $1,000.
