27 No Dash 3.5 and a Group Photo.... ** Home at Last **

Jim,
I am glad that you snagged another piece of the puzzle. Couldnt happen to a nicer , more deserving guy!! And I am especially glad that your collecting is not in so many twisted directions as mine is.

It makes so much sense that you are on the hunt for 3.5inchers
of each variant starting with the reg mag throught the last prelock 3.5 which is the -5. And if I am correct the 3.5 was not present in the -3 and -4 engineering changes.

So you must now be on the more elusive hunt for the 3.5" tubes on a reg mag, a non reg mag and on the transitonal postwar.

Thank you My friend.

I am giving up on the 3.5 transitional. That way maybe one will fall out of the sky. Lol. I have the 3.5 RM. So I would be happy with a non RM 3.5. Might take me a few years. Though.

One of the guns at the front has a flat top front sight. Was that just how it was done that year?

I'm mighty happy for you. I'm looking forward to see where you are going to take your collection.

I live in Georgia if you ever feel compelled to do the right thing and let her go back home!

Its very satisfying watching someone meet with the success they've been pursuing. Congratulations on putting your collection together.

m27, no dash, 4 screw

Beautiful pictures Jim, I wish I had built a light box a few years back, here's mine that's a twin to yours, with matching # grips & correct box. I has a little holster wear however. Johnny

Giving up! I may sell this one as early as this summer. Leaning toward starting it on GB for one dollar.
