I have found a 28-2 6" blue for sale. The guy wants $675. It has the old wood thumb rest type grip. It looks good in pictures. Supossed to be in " excellent condition". What think the faithful?

I think that 675$ is high for that gun.

They have been going up, but not that much.

For a 4 inch in the same condition his price would be OK. I think $600 for a 6 inch in excellent shape would be a good price especially if the grips are not S&W grips.

I thought it was a little high but I'm in California so everything is a more expensive. The grips are definitely aftermarket.

All depends on the maker of the thumb rest grips.
If Ropers they are paying you to take it.
If Sanderson's you'd be buying cheap.
