28-2

That is a nice one! I picked one up, first year of the N Serial numbers, that hadn't been fired outside of the factory, but no box, etc.

They are really nice revolvers to shoot.

Very nice. My first center fire revolver was a 28-2. Still have. Great revolver. Enjoy it.

Very nice!
I've had my eye on a shooter grade 28-2 4" at a pawnshop.
Made in the mid '70's.
Pachymyr grips, no box etc…
Asking $1,000 and won't budge.
I feel that's more than I want to be in it for.
Maybe it'll sit for a while and I can get some negotiation leverage.
I'm a patient dude.

That seems a bit high, even for today. They have two at my LGS in great shape, for $1,495.00 each. They will likely sit for a while.

The Marlin was in great shape as well. It was a "Mountie"

I have a Mountie that I got as a kid back in the 70s. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Last gun I'd get rid of.
