All things being equal condition, what is the difference in value
between a 29-2 and 29-3 ?

I've been watching prices on GunBroker, and prices in general are ALL over the place. But in my eyeballin' I'd say 10%.

The price depends on when the 29-2 was made. This model variation was introduced in late 1962 when coke bottle stocks were still being used and the clamshell style presentation was an accessory. An early 29-2 in mint condition in the correct case will sell for $2,500 plus. The price between a 29-2 from the mid-70s and a 29-3 from the early 80s, when the only major differences are the "pinned and recessed" features, will be much closer in value. 10-15 percent is probably a good estimate.
