29-3 issue

I have a nickel 29-3 8 3/8" barrel that I need a cylinder for. One of the charge holes has a slight bulge at the cylinder stop. Where in the world can I get a cylinder. I have been looking every where online. I've sent S&W emails but no luck there.

I don't believe you can just buy a cylinder. That is probably going to require a licensedd gunsmith to change for you. Even then, you may have to also adjust the gap too.

Already have a smith to do the work if we can find a cylinder .

If you find a blued one, you could get it nickel plated.
