29 No dash acquisition- UPDATE- DWFAN is Alive!

I recently found a 29 no dash that I believe dates to around 1960, asking $690. It looks like yours on the left side, but when I turned it over it had silver flecks all over the barrel where the blueing was gone. A few on the right side frame as well. Still considering it, as I don't have a .44

Do you think that's a reasonable price?

It's a great price if it has the Cokes on it IMO. It would be in my safe already if I had come across it.

Thanks, I will check. They also had a beautiful 29-2 for a grand. I have not paid much attention to .44's so I'm ignorant as to value. What had me drooling was a NIB .357 NRA 1971 Colt SAA for $1,500.

Relieved or non-relieved presentation grips? I would own it at $690 regardless. Not a single .44 on gun broker can be bought for less than that. Much less any 4 screw guns.
