Back in December, PA's DA along with the head of the State Police (apparently because Bloomberg asked them to) came up with an opinion that 80% lowers, and pretty much anything that could potentially be made into a firearm IS a firearm. Therefore sales would have to go through an FFL like a handgun. Part of the problem was the PSP didn't have any way for FFLs to process background checks on 80% lowers. Essentially they tried to ban 80% lowers by decree and trickery.
Luckily, real activist groups exist, and the FPC took up the fight against this. Today the judge granted a preliminary injunction. The FPC is awesome. Within just a few days they were on this.
