2nd best revolver other than another S&W?

Hey no problem, not many people around know about DW revolvers. The DW's were so well build and expensive to make they put themselves out of business. All four of my DW's have about 2-3 lb SA triggers, but the 744 (44 Mag) might be less then 2 lbs as it always surprises me when it goes bang. With shooting gloves on the 44 is almost impossible to shoot SA it is so light.

I vote for Ruger. I like the way my sp 101 looks, especially with my new Hogue grips.

I'll take a Speed Six or Sp101 over most DA revolvers.....in the small frames..........S&W in the large frames......Don't like GP100's or Redhawks.......but.....at the top of my list is an old model Ruger single action..........any caliber or configuration.

I like the Ruger GP 100 and the Redhawk as a second choice to a S&W.

If it was still 1970 I would say S&W first, Colt second, and Ruger third.
Now it's S&W first, Ruger second as Colt isn't turning out new DA's.
If you can find a Python and afford it, buy it.
It's still second to a S&W DA revolver to me tho.
