2nd Model .32 New Departure "Lemon Squeezer"

Hello All! I have recently acquired a 2nd Model .32 New Departure "Lemon Squeezer" top-break revolver in scarce blue finish, serial number 123XXX. Based upon my research, these were manufactured from 1902 to 1909. I am hoping someone could narrow that range to a specific year of manufacture?

.32 SH serial 121671 was shipped in August 1903.
32 S.H. serial 120917 was shipped in April 1904.
.32 Safety Hammerless serial number 125706 was shipped in March 1905.
.32 Safety Hammerless serial 128892 was shipped in February 1905.


As you can see, S&W didn't ship in serial number order. However, your gun probably shipped in 1904.

Hey Geo, nice clean little gun. Looks un-touched. Nice screw slots and side plate seam. Appears to have some "pocket polish" from being carried.
Grips look perfect. If you remove them, dont force them. They will chip.
