Need help identifying model number, age, and approximate value, please. This was left to me by my step-father who was a dealer and had a wide variety of inventory. I do not see any model number behind the cylinder yoke. This is a .32 Long.

If any further info is needed, please let me know. Thanks.

Thomas

If you don't see a model number behind the yoke, it probably does not have one. Means the gun shipped before 1957 when model numbers were introduced. Serial number would be helpful to determine the age beyond that.

The lack of MADE IN USA stamp on the right frame indicates it was likely made 40 years before model numbers were introduced. That stamp was started around 1922. The lack of a round logo on either side of the frame indicates it was made around WWI, when wartime production paused the logo stamp from around 1917 to 1919.

It is an I frame Model 1903 Hand Ejector, probably a 3rd Model with a serial number above 270,000.
