3.5" Custom Combat 28 357 Magnum

Another jjbrewst1 homerun!:)

Excellent concept, and obviously stellar work- drop me a line if you ever get tired of it ;)

Congrats on another fine addition to collection, Jim!

Nice gun there Jim.

OOPS! just re-read picture description. Before and after bluing. I tell ya, it's hell getting old.

Nice gun there Jim.
It looks like the first few pictures were taken in your photo box and the others on your counter. Is this correct? If so that photo box and lighting really make that Smith "POP". Did you do anything different to the gun between the box and counter pics.? It almost looks like different guns.

The top pics are the completed project pics. The counter top pics are the before pics.

Damn Allen $218.00!!

Im in it a little more now, after another trip to the Gunsmith. Maybe I should have just sent it back to you for some Love.

I had to replace Hammer and then had the Action re-slicked, refiled front sight grooves, High Polish Reblue , and then had the grip frame re-fit to the Combats.

Man, where did $218 go. I must say your thoughts for this Gun were awesome and Thank you for thinking it up.

I Love It

Great looking .357. Similar to the three made by S&W in 1974 in 44 Magnum caliber.

So here is the question:

If we find, or have an Extra 4" Patrolman, who do we send it to to to the Barrel Work, and the Site Work?

This is a great, great Execution.

Unfortunately the days of finding Cheap 28-2s, especially in 4" are definitely over.

Allen-Frame did the barrel work and the sight work. I had some more work done on front sight. Re-grooved and lowered a tad. Thanks to Pattontime
