Thanks to jjbrews1 I recently acquired a 3" 65-5 Ladysmith to add to my accumulation. I swapped out the stocks to something a little more shooter-friendly than the factory stocks and lined it up with my other 3" k-frames:
13-2, 65-5 bobbed (it isn't pink!...that's the reflection of my red shirt!), and 66-2:

I'm puzzled.

The 13 - that's the blue one upper left.

The 66 - that's the one with adjustable sights and ejector shroud, upper right.

The 65-5, bobbed - that's the one with no hammer spur, lower left.

That leaves the one lower right - the one with a shrouded ejector - to be your new 65-5 Ladysmith. A 65-5 with a shrouded ejector?

I know I keep hearing "never say never about S&W", but - a 65-5 with a shrouded ejector?

Let's see some more pics... 3" model 19 anyone??

My 3 inch Model 65 that I bought new in 1995.

Google Model 65 Ladysmith Alpo, or check one of the many threads on here about them. They are shrouded which is the main thing differentiating them from regular model 65s.
