I've had a bit of a dry spell (last acquisition was in April), so I walked in to a shop I haven't been in for about a year and walked out with 3 revolvers. All pre-lock. All 6"ers. 57-1, 28-2, and 27-4. The 27-4 came with original box and docs. The other two did not. The 57-1 has Pachs on it, so those will have to go soon. The 28-2 is a bit older than the other 2 so forgive me for showing it in the "1980-present" category. This is my first model 27, so I'm thrilled to add this to the accumulation. I already had a 57-1, but it's 8 3/8, so a 6" is nice to have. I already have a 4" and a 6" 28-2, but I couldn't pass up the good deal. Thanks for looking.

I bought 3 of the 4 pre lock revolvers he had. The one I didn't buy was a 17-3. Also a 6". I passed on it because I have a 17-4 6" and very rarely shoot it.

Wow. I'd like to find that shop...preferable a few minutes before you next time. Nice haul. I sort of like the Pachs on a blued N Frame. Looks mean. All business.

Rubber grips

I don't disagree that rubber grips are ugly. But...if you plan to shoot that 57-1 those Pachs will keep your hand from too much pain. Or, wear batting gloves when you shoot 41 Magnum with checkered stocks. I have baby soft hands because I escaped the farm at age 18 and never looked back.

I only have rubbers on my 500mag. I shoot wood grips on all my 357s, 41s, and 44s. I'm still young tho, so when I'm older I might take that advice!

...I was on my phone at the time and for some reason didn't see the pics until after I posted...GREAT lookin' guns!!
