30 super carry and more

I just got back from a trip to the Sparks Nevada Scheels store.

They had a large quantity of 30SC for sale. Gold Dots and HST. Plus some variety of Remington JHP.

Also large stocks of other types. In fact, they had a 10% off sale on all types of handgun ammo.

No limits on what you could buy. He offered one customer a whole pallet of 9mm.

But, there was still only one type of expensive bear load in 38 sp. (who hunts bear with 38 sp).

No 357 mag. No 32 acp I need for my seecamp.

So the ammo companies need to broaden their offerings.

He also thought the Russian war would send us back into a shortage soon.

Not sure I agree with that.

Today Was down at Cabelas and the Warehouse.
Plenty of ammo , lots of calibers.
Also didn't see any 38 or 357.
Prices for everything but 9mm seem to be edging up.

He got me 2,000 spp primers when I was in bad shape.

Glad that you could come across the boarder to the "Silver State" to get a transfusion.
