Saw a nice 4in Mod.19-3 at a local gun shop today. Outside shows possible LEO duty use , but action was smooth and locked up tight. Was wearing Pachmayrs. Tagged for $299.

Good price. Given significant holster wear and incorrect stocks not a fantastic price, but I would bag it.

I bought my 19-4 4 inch for the same price a little over 2 years ago. I ( and others ) thought it was a good price then, so I would think that today its a Very Good price.
Cleaned and shined it up a little bit and put a set of rosewood grips on it. I think its beautiful ..... and it shoots just great. I love mine ... and I think you'll feel the same about yours.

I just bought one on GB for $550 with shipping and transfer fees. That gun is a very sweet shooter with .38+P or mild .357s. Very nice DA trigger pull. Very accurate.

I purchased this 19-5 from a pawn shop a few months back for $285. It does have holster wear and I had to replace some damaged targets with these Herrett's. It still locks up tight and I don't think it had been fired much. There are still a few good deals to be had.

Good price and yes, better jump on the revolver. I just bought a 19-4 6 inch barrel for $269 out the door. I will need to clean some surface rust off the frame but the revolver has the original grips and there is nothing wrong with lock-up. To get a K frame magnum for $300 or less is rare.

Of course, $125 went a little bit farther in 1975 than it does today.
