300 Blackout

Those grenaded rifles are why I have a 7.62x39 upper, and NOT a 300 BO.

And at today's prices, I can buy a 7.62x39 upper and 1K rounds, or just 1K of BO, IF you could find a case. Now, every round after that first case, I'm saving money. But my complete upper with bolt was $300 back in 2019.

Very kool little rifle, mine's gonna be more in the 30-30 category as far as usage, but I'm impressed with the wide variety of loads that Wilson has for the 300 HAM'R,,, and like you, I just love the .30 cal platform..

If it wasn't for the HAM'R? I would be running a 300 Blackout too!

Sold mine days ago to a friend's young adult son. Did it for the safety reasons. Along with the 2200 or 2400 rounds of ammunition. He got a super deal (imo) on the ammunition. I never fully trusted not getting the 2 mixed and now that my grandson (12) is "ARing", it was an easy decision. Really liked the gun and caliber though. I might break down and go AK again. Not in an AR.

I have a 300aac pistol, my only other AR pistol is a 9mm. All my 5.56 are rifles. I just mark my mags accordingly and never bring 300 and 5.56 guns to the range together.

I don't own a .223, my son does so my OD Seekins 300blkout and it's ammo will be his concern when I'm gone. I built it after my retirement. I keep the cmmg .22 upper on it most of the time. I've always thought it had a tight chamber as building loads from 223/556 brass was a real pain. I finally bought a hornady neck thinner that fixed the neck issues. The .22 upper is great, very accurate, the Black Dog mags work super. The goofy .22 loader makes it a breeze to load them.
