Today I "found" two boxes of Cowboy Action HSM ammo amongst my organized mess in the garage. Is this safe enough to shoot in my 1906 32 Winchester revolver? Otherwise, I will use it in my Martini Cadet once I get the barrel switched to 32-20.
Cowboy Action ammo is usually loaded to lower pressures than other ammo. BUT, since I have no way of knowing what condition your revolver is in there is no way for me to recommend anything.
As a general rule Cowboy Action ammo is usually low pressure. The decision to shoot it or not is completely up to you.
All you need to do is go to Cowboy HSM ammo website and you will see this ammo rated at 850 fps for pistol with a 115gr cast bullet.... which is the standard factory load for 32-20 and is safe in all firearms.. in good condition.
