If I buy a .32 Magnum Die Set, can I use it for all three .32 caliber rounds?? (.32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, and of course .32 H&R Magnum.)

Right now the only thing I own in .32 Caliber is a Mod 30-1 in .32 S&W Long which will also shoot .32 S&W. I'm thinking though that if I decide to reload for it I would like a die set that covers all three calibers just in case I ever got a .32 Magnum revolver.

Thanks

Steve

According to the paperwork in my Lee dies, all three can be loaded with the 32 H&R dies.

Don't forget the .327 - and yes I'd expect a die set to cover the whole range though there may well be issues with roll crimping at all the possible lengths of case and bullet.

FREX RCBS labels a set
21412 - 3-DIE CARB SET 32S&WL/H&RMG/327 FED
and it's possible the shortest .32 S&W case won't reach the crimping shoulder for all I know - taking a cut off the mouth of the die would fix that if necessary.

They must have changed things since I bought mine. I bought the .32 S&W Long to load both the S&WL and H&R magnums. I used it to size and expand .32 S&Ws (shorts) with a little modification but still had to buy a seperate seat and crimp die from RCBS. (At the time Lee didn't make a .32 S&W die set.)

I'd heard some die manufacturers were combining this way, now that it's too late for me to take advantage of it.
