.32 Hand Ejector help

I just picked up my latest purchase. It's a pre-WWII .32 Long Hand Ejector, I think.
I'm not too well versed on these small frame pre-war revolvers, so I would appreciate some help.
The 6-digit serial number is 333339 and it is on the butt, cylinder, and barrel (with the B in front of the sn signifying that it is a blued gun).
The timing and lock up are great as are the chambers and bore.
As you can see, the blue on the frame and barrel are quite faded but there is no issue with pitting. The major fault is the hammer spur is broken off, but I have the piece.
When was this made?
Is this considered an I-frame?
What range of years/models would have the same internal parts for me to be able to source a replacement hammer?
I would very much appreciate any input.

Hi, Scott! It is a .32 H.E. 3rd Model made in 1920/21 on the I frame. IMO, pretty much all parts up to the introduction of the Improved I frame around 1950 will interchange. Hondo44 (Jim Carter) is an expert on these little guns and likely can tell you if I have it wrong.

Jack First does not show any hammers in stock. I would shoot it, if you like shooting it, then decide if you just get the hammer welded or if you do a rebuke at the same time. Since you have the broken part you “only” need to find a skilled welder rather than a skilled gunsmith to do the repair assuming you can remove the hammer.

The hammer can be welded very well with a TIG welder and someone who knows how to TIG weld. Shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

You're right your 32 pre-dates WWII by a minimum of 20 years as Guy posted. Finding the right hammer is possible but troublesome. You'd want to remove yours to closely compare with any possible replacement. And don't trust the identity of any you find for sale.

I agree with fellow members above since you have the piece, have it tig welded. For one thing it'll be cheaper and you don't have to worry about refinishing it based on the existing finish of the gun. Just dress down the welding. If you need suggestions for doing that, just ask us here on the forum.

I had the same situation. Bought a set of parts off e-bay and swapped out the hammer.
