Do you owners of a TRR8 really like them. Couple of reviews on youtube guys love it. Nutnfancy ran a drill and loved it. If you love it or hate it please chime in.
You should have tried the light gathering front sight that came with the 327 JM. It lights up like crazy in strong sunlight.I bought one, never fired it, and then later gave it to my dad for a Christmas present about 3 years ago. He never knew I had it so it was a nice surprise. We generally shoot outdoors. My teenage son, teenage nephew, dad, and I all had trouble seeing the front sight very well on a bright sunny day and had trouble shooting it for that reason. I cannot remember the exact front sight it had. I think it was a gold dot - something that was reflecting the sun. Otherwise it functioned well and was easy shooting. We all decided we prefer the older revolvers and prefer either a red ramp, Partridge, or Baughman front sight, at least on bright sunny days. The 8 shot capacity, light weight, and the rails are neat.
Been looking for one for a bit, but the best price I've found has been $1300.... Are they really selling for full MSRP, or have I just had bad luck?
I just picked my TRR8 last week need to get her out to the range and break her in but if she's as good as my pc627 I'll be a happy camper. To other TRR8 owners out there are your rear sights the standard square notch ones? I thought the TRR8 and M&P R8 both came with the V-notch rears. Mine has the square notch.
