.32acp NAA Guardian

The Guardians are very well made and quite durable. I've owned both the .380acp and the .32acp. Of the two that I owned the .32acp was my favorite. They were both 100% reliable with any ammo that I chose to run.

As others have indicated, these are very dense and heavy stainless steel pistols. They are not particularly fun to shoot so it's a classic "carry often, shoot seldom" kind of pistol.

I had no trouble selling or trading them when the time came.

The frame cracking on the Tomcat is no joke. Been there, done that. I think they used to put a warning in the paperwork not to use ammunition which develops 130 foot pounds of energy. They mean it. Years ago I had one and several hundred rounds of hotter FMJ European stuff cracked it. Back then Beretta replaced it and I sold it as soon as it came back. Stick with USA made ammunition if you get the Tomcat.

I carried an NAA Guardian in my pocket for a number of years. It was dependable, but when the Ruger LCP hit the market, I sold the Guardian. The LCP was bigger, but lighter and was a 380 vs the 32.

Another plus one for the Keltec.
For some reason, I ended up with an accumulation of .32 ACP and nothing to shoot it in other than some M16 revolvers.
Fortunately, I ran across a LN P32 worth the price. IIRC, $160 but even if twice that, I couldn't be happier. Sights are almost non-existent, but the little thing prints well at 10 yds. and hasn't missed a beat with various ammo.
