34-1 22LR doesn't always fire?

I had the same light strike issue on a Model 35 (6” Mod 34). A heavier mainspring finally solved it. The original spring is rated at 8.5lbs and even a new one didn’t help, nor did the Wolfe springs. A 12lb spring did the job!

The model 351C / 351PD uses a 12lb spring (red color). Midwest Gun Works usually has them in stock. Good Luck!

Single action or double action? I had no issues with mine single action, occasional misfires double action. Try a different ammo brand or loading first. Worked for me. My revolver seems to work best with CCI Standard.

I picked up a very clean 34-1 and found it doesn't always fire. I have to go twice around the cylinder to get all rounds o fire.
Used CCI SV ammo.
Cylinder locks up tight and appears to be inline with the bore on each hole in the cylinder.

First pic shows, what I think, are firing pin divots hitting the cylinder. Is that correct thinking?

Any ideas how to fix this non-firing issue?

How's the CCI SV go through your other .22s?
CCI had a bunch of quality control issues about the time they changed to the new box art.
With the new CCI, I'd regularly have to 'go round the world' a couple of times in my Outdoorsman to touch off the whole cylinder. The problem went away when I found a brick of old SV.
Ammo may not be your whole issue, but it wouldn't be helpful in diagnosis.

Mostly happens in double action.
I run mostly CCI SV in all other 22's, especially suppressed.
