I found one thread where someone asked if it can be done and looks like TK can do them. What's the downside (other than cost of an already outrageously priced gun)? I recently purchased a 442 pro and enjoy the ease of loading / unloading in one motion.

My concern is does this somehow weaken the Ti? I know obviously it pretty much kills the warranty. Just wondering if anyone has done it and how it's held up?

Thanks

Thank you for the response! (2) questions;

1) Do your clips work with guns that were cut at the factory? I have a 442 Pro and a 642 PC for example.

2) Do the cylinders that you cut still accept factory and/or TK moon clips that I already have?

Glad I could help

For question 1 - Absolutely my CCW HD moon clips are heat treated 0.25 stainless. They will work in any properly converted cylinder. They will drop right over a stock cylinders ratchet so as long as that cylinder has had the recess machined correctly you are good to go.

For question 2 - Yes both of those will work in my cnc cylinder conversions.

But once you use mine you'll never look back. The CCW HD moon clips are hands down the toughest J frame moon clips available. Yet you can still load and unload them with your fingers And they fit every ammo manufacturers cases I have tried, across 27 headstamps about 300 cases were tested, the list and detail info along with loading and unloading with fingers procedure I use is at the CCW HD moon clips page link above.

I had a fellow from Florida, 72 years old that had given up on moon clips for his 640. We got to talking about it when he called to order a Lock Delete for that gun. He wound up getting a pack of them. Just emailed me back yesterday evening ecstatic that he finally has moon clips that he can effectively use with his carry ammo in his 640.

Thanks for the follow up. Let me put enough rounds thru it to make sure it doesn't need to go back, again.

What's your turnaround?
