I have a lightly used 340SS that I plan to sell.
It's basically a 340PD but with a polished stainless cylinder.

These guns are not common. I'm trying to decide whether I have a semi-collector gun worth some money, or an unsuccessful orphan that's "nothing" but a shooter.
Opinions?
Thanks.

SCSW4 shows on pg. 282 that S&W produced a 340ss with stainless steel cylinder in 2006. However, no indication of numbers produced or 'ballpark' value. Best I can do.

Quite often small variations like that might cause a 10% kick in value. I do not know in your specific case.

Someone else has already expressed interest, I'll send him pics and my price tomorrow. If he likes that, then he gets it. If not, I'll let you know.
If I can figure out how to post a pic here, I'll do that either way.
Although getting a higher price would be nice, I don't want to turn this into a bidding war.

Buyer changed his mind when he saw that it has the Lock, so not sold.
I'll list it in the classified section soon, or on GB.
I don't want to be using this thread as a For Sale section.
