It has been delivered and is now mine to play with. I have a date of 1970 so it has been about 40ish years since it was lubed at the factory. You know it has NOT been opened since then.

The last one, the bottom of the grip frame is not parallel with the barrel. That seems odd.

Yes it is. I enjoy using it b/c it dispenses one perfect drop each time. I can not recall where I got it but it was on line. It has a screw on cap with an O ring and a clip so it can be worn in a shirt pocket without worrying about it leaking. Quality little tool. In fact both of these fine tools were made in America.

That looks a lot like the "General Tools Precision Needle Oiler" available from MidWay for a little less than $9, plus shipping.

It is also on eBay as a "Neiko Tools USA Precision Oiler" for $9 with free shipping.

Guess where I am going to buy mine.

Nice Revolver.

As to the "Oiler" I have 2 of them, one I fill with Breakfree, and one I fill with Ballsitol.

I carry the one with Ballistol in my shirt pocket 100% of the time when I leave the house.
Ballistol is a good lube, a good cleaner, and a good disinfectant.
It is good on wood gunstocks and leather goods as well.

I put it on all of the small cuts I get, insect bites, chiggers, etc.

The German Army has been using it since 1904. And you know the Germans always make good stuff.

You can get those "oilers" from Midway USA. They work great.

I have been using them for a few years. They never have leaked.

Very nice 35-1 and I think I'll be ordering one of those oilers

The only suggestion I have is to remove that trigger shoe and get that "orange growth" removed from the trigger!!!! looks a tad crusty under there.

Yes it has, I think, a little evidence of being fired. I'll ask the seller again. He didn't fire it IIRC.I would be okay if it were just the hand maiden to the Virgin Safe Queen. Then I would not feel so antsy firing a few cylinders through it. I don't know if it is really "collector grade". I know it is somewhat rare. Any feedback on that would be appreciated.

Glad you are enjoying the gun! It was a pleasure doing business with you, glad it made it to you in good order. I never fired this gun, but, like you, I assume it had been fired a little at some point, but the wear was very minimal. I've enjoyed seeing your photos!
