1935 and 36’ were the only Ford production years of this grill.

Neither was the 98' Ford chassis, V-8 engine, running gear, AC, disc brakes, mag wheels, radial tires or the 12 volt electrical system

The pictured feller' in the overalls is the owner/builder.

Gil, Great minds think alike. One of the nicest little '39 pick ups around has a hopped up flathead V8, Lincoln transmission and juice brakes. The owner has kept the body in its original patina with a flat clear coat to protect from further deterioration. I've never understood why the NHRA used to use '49 as their break off year but would allow an off brand motor in an earlier car.

I drive this one alot in cooler weather, when it gets over 90 I park it, around here thats only a few weeks. My wife is not one of those girls that likes the wind in her hair, so opening the windshield is kinda out.

Whats not to like about this traditional hot rod, roadster drivers use Rain-ex in their hair. There is a reason they call that the So-Cal look, they can get away with driving them nearly year round. I love that look, bigs and littles, stance everything. A buddy has a roadster pickup done without fenders, I think we get wetter from the tires than we do overhead. His latest A-V8 he's working on will be a full fendered roadster pickup, I'll try to talk him out of the other because its got a hopped up four banger...its near perfect, got juice brakes too.

I like wires but on a V8 powered rig '32 Kelsey Hayes really do it for me, the Artillery wheels are cool with moons you can do just about anything but add any Chrome plated. You can chrome plate a brass doorknob, I like polished aluminum, stainless and nickel plate but the less chrome the better. This is the 8BA I ran in my '51.
