Does anyone pocket carry a 340pd with a 350g crimson trace grip.

How about other modes of carry.

I want to tame 357 enough to make carrying reasonable without making it too big.

360 not a 340. Have carried in front pocket and in pocket of rain jacket for inclement weather outdoor carry. This one is loaded with 3ea 125gr Horn JHPs at a chronoed 925 fps and 2 Buffalo Bore 180gr outdoorsman for last ditch bad breath 4 legged encounters. The 125s shoot to POA at 25 yds and are comfortable to shoot.

The two blue circled shots are the 125 Horns at 25yds. The laser was zeroed later.

Sold my two 340PDs and carry my M&P 340s, the steel cylinders of which permit me to carry the 110gr .357 JHPs which are 'verboten' in the PDs' Ti cylinders. EVERYTHING .357 jumped crimp in the PDs, anyway. Nothing comfy to shoot in the PD, IME. Sadly, the M&P is out-of-print. Always use UM pocket rig for carry. Also, the factory UM-knockoff grip.

I don’t use the CT grip so can’t comment on it. I use the factory supplied Hogue boot grip and Winchester Silvertips. They are 145 grain and no fun at all to shoot, IMO. If you want to reduce recoil, then you probably need to change to a 125 grain bullet. I tried Federal’s in my 340 and was surprised at the difference 20 grains made. For me, it was like night and day. :)

I'm waiting on a CT350g grip for my new UC632. I already have a M37 with a CT grip that I normally carry IWB.

The laser grip extends the usefulness of a CCW gun by quite a bit in my mind. Mainly, it facilitates making good hits without having to sight down the barrel like you do with iron sights or red dot. This is very helpful when shooting from cover or in an awkward position. It keeps the gun much more compact than adding a red dot. It's better in low light than the iron sights.
