Lipsey version of the LCR Ruger

This gun seems to have caught my attention, it being a hammerless DAO .32 H&R Magnum. It seems like it would be an excellent pocket-carry six shot revolver. Does anyone know how manageable the gun is? I thought I asked about this gun but I can't find it using the search option. I just bought a Charter Arms .38 Special "Off Duty" and I plan to run out to the range again today, but it's pretty tame. Similar to the Model 36 snubby. I've never shot any .32 H&R magnums in that small of a package.
I'm almost positive I asked about this so I'm sorry if this is a repeat, but I can't find it! My brain has been freezing up on me lately, since my prostatectomy. Hmmm, I wonder...nah!

I have shot 327 in the standard Ruger version built for that round. It is just a tad heavier. There was more recoil than I can control for fast followup shots. Every 32 H&R round I have used except Buffalo Bore's +P has been easier all around than any .38 Special round. At least this is my perception when shooting. The LCR with 32 H&R and 32 S&W Long is my favorite revolver combo.

The only thing about the Lipsey version is that the wonderful to shoot rubber grip they ship with is very awkward to pocket carry. Too large and too grippy for many. Even as a holster gun, my experience was that it caught too much cloth. The Hamre Forge LCR grip is on mine and is a favorite. I also added the XS non-tritium sight to my LCR. It really stands out.

The Lipseys LCR .32 H&R (13.9 oz) is slightly heavier than the standard LCR .38+P (13.5 oz), so it should be a nice soft shooter. I can easily control my LCR .38 with +P. If you intend on pocket carrying, check out the Hogue Tamer boot grip. They have smooth sides and are ideal for pocket carry:

Go with a Ruger (Charter Arms are not made as well MHO)

On another thread I noted a Charter .32 H&R was my current carry gun due to age and health issues. I find it very shootable and manageable, and my wife used it to qualify with as well; and small revolvers in that caliber seem to be making a bit of a comeback. As for the Ruger LCR, I'd buy one in a minute if I could find one around here! Not the prettiest gun around, but Rugers are always stout, shootable and safe. I do have a Ruger single-action in .327 Federal, and with that caliber you can shoot .32 S&W, .32 Long, .32 H&R as well as the .327 (which is pretty hot) in the same gun. Recoil in the heavier single action is essentially negligible except for the .327, which to me has about the same recoil as a .38 Special or maybe +P; in other words, not bad. Just a thought.

I recently bought the "Lipsey S&W 632 UC in 32 H&R Magnum, and it's a great little carry gun with plenty of "ooomph", but much easier to shoot than a .38 sp. in a snubby. I pocket carry it in an Alabama holster and also have a speed-loader that I carry with it, as well.

I bought the GP100, 6", in .327 Fed Mag. The only thing I did with it was going a little lighter on the hammer spring, and I changed the front sight to a HI VIZ green 'pipe' . They make that so easy even I can change the sight! I like, as mentioned above, the assortment of cartridges it can use. Even the .32 Semi auto shoots in it, but not a cartridge that's very reliable in the gun. I put a set of Match Champion wood stocks on it. I had the Lipsey blued & wood 5" GP100 but traded it off. Nice shooter; one of my favorite & accurate revolvers. That Lipsey LCR seems a little high at $700+, just to have a bronze-colored front end, but I wouldn't pass one up if I found one.
I just really like the .327 FMs.
