I have been loading these over 12.3 gr of 2400 which Nosler calls max load. I'm just wondering if anyone else is loading these bullets.

Sorry for being so vague. I'm shooting mine out of a 6" 686 with pretty good accuracy. I started low and worked up and my groups got tighter as the rounds got hotter, as the book said Max load was most accurate. I got a group of 10 rds in a 2in group at 25 yards with a single power dot scope. I'm pretty happy with this, but I was thinking of trying another powder and was wondering if anyone else is having success with this bullet. Appreciate any help!

I bought a box of these before the "shortage" but haven't loaded any yet, but I doubt there's material accuracy difference between it & the other (3) major manufacturers. I don't have a Nosler manual (their online doesn't even list 2400) but the load you mentioned, 158JHP/12.3gr/2400 is not a maximum load in other manuals. You could try either 296/H110 or Bluedot with this bullet. Hodgdon & Alliant have online manuals.

Nosler makes excellent bullets. 2400 is an excellent powder I doubt (if shooting max loads) there is any reason to change. There are other powders but doubt you will find any difference.

If it ant broke don't fix it:D

If you were shooting target loads than maybe a different powder like HP 38 , Unique or something in the middle burn rate.

2400 is more forgiving than H110 in that it can be reduced a lot more and does not require a Magnum primer. Bluedot is flaming dirt and only works well at max loads and can spike in pressure due to outside temp

No direct experience but I've only heard great things from the LGS who has (had) them. Got some as well as 180gr. 10mm on back order.
