Welcome to the Forum! You are going to enjoy that 586. I just got a 586, 4" and it is a shooter! Smooth trigger too. With that extra 2 inches on your barrel, it should be a tack driver. Bob

As Bob said, "welcome to the forum". My 6" 586 is as close to a tack driver as will ever be shot from these old hands. I'm in the market for a 4" 586 as well - hope you enjoy your new gun. Jeff
