I called Rossi and none are in production as of now. Somebody should have one stuck back somewhere. My neighbor wants one and he is like a coon dog on a trail. Not going to give up so I thought I would ask. We went to Texas yesterday and found a 20 inch but no 24.

It's good that he's persistent, because they have been a rare find for a while now. If your friend is willing to part with a good sized pile of cash, Navy Arms make a beautiful "73" with a short-stroke kit. I handled one at Cabela's, that was tough to give back.

For half the price of the Navy Arms version, Uberti makes a nice one. I handled one at Palmetto State Armory a while back, and it had a very smooth action.

If I didn't have my mind set on a "92", I would have gotten the Uberti. I finally found a 24" Rossi .357 oct. barrel., and love it.

Just noticed where your located. By coincidence, I found my 24" Rossi at Sooner State Pawn, in OKC. I checked, and they don't have any more.

Does anybody make a lever action 357 mag with 24 inch barrel?

Yes, Rossi. I have one in 357 with a 24" octagon barrel. Beautiful shooting and more accurate than I am. $530 out the door at my FLGS. The newest ones that say Braztech and Made by Taurus are good quality and the only thing mine doesn't like is true wadcutters and I don't know a lever that will function with them
