4" barrel model 60?

Did S&W ever offer a stainless 4" barrel J-frame in 357? I know they had a 2"-3"version in 38 Special only and 357 mag, but what about a 4"?

I was going to say the same thing. Never heard of a four inch, just the 2,3, and 5. Of course there is always the possibility S&W built some four inches on special request but I've never seen one.

I think a 4 inch would be great. Maybe S&W could could come out with a retro type 4 inch J frame with a skinny barrel and call it the "Regulation Police Target." Make it in 32 mag and 38(or 357).

The Model 631 with adjustable sights came with a 4" barrel, so the precedent for a 4" J frame is set. I wouldn't mind replacing the 3" underlug barrel on my 60-4 with a 4" long standard diameter barrel. I think I would like the additional sight length more than the addition weight.
