.357 Magnum ammo

I've run a bunch of their 556 thru my bushmaster, and haven't had any issues. It's not to bad for range time. I have no experience with their 357 ammo but would say it shouldn't give you any problems.

Has anyone ever used Tul ammo??

For just target practice do you see any issues with this ammo?

Cheap 357 Mag Ammo For Sale - 158 gr FMJ Tula Ammunition In Stock - 50 Rounds

If you enjoy dealing with stuck cartridges every cyclinder, then feel free to buy. The reviews on the Lucky Gunner site you linked are spot on. I dumped the box I bought after two cylinders of the ****. I had to pound a couple out with a dowel. It was a waste of $13 (+ shipping). Fiocchi isn't that much more and is far, far, better.

grinner is spot on. This is junk. Steel is good to go in a lot of instances, I think that magnum loads may be too much for the steel cases and they expand considerably, causing major extraction problems as referenced earlier. PMC and Fiocchi are good to go, and brass cased. There is also some aluminum cased ammo going around that is good to go and does not expand, it is non reloadable which will save you a few dollars. I've shot a few thousand rounds of Tula in 9mm and 45 ACP. I'm not against using steel cased ammo in my semi autos.

But I have not and would not want to shoot any steel cased ammo in my revolvers. It can tend to stick more. Plus I reload so my revolvers see very few factory rounds and steel cased is non reloadable so it's of even less interest to me.

I just ordered a case of Fiocchi .357 Mag.

Thanks for the advise.

Kenny

My range does not allow steel cases, so it is out for me. I also watch all the sales, and seem to always be able to find brass case at a decent price.

Glad you picked up some Fiocchi for your 357 needs instead of that steel case ****, Kenny. I have wayyyy too much invested in my fine S&W firearms to try to feed it stuff that will stick in the cylinders forcing me to beat the damned things out. The Fiocchi is good ammo, especially for the price and their cases are very good too if you reload like I do. I keep my newer brass segregated and I have 1 box of Fiocchi cases that are on their 15th reload without any failures.

Thanks. I've never shot steel case ammo before but have to admit the price was attractive..... but then I guess we get what we pay for.

I don't reload but I do save my brass and give it to a friend who does reload.

I've got a couple .357s I haven't shot yet but I'm looking forward to getting some range time with them.
