Well.. thanks to forum member Model39 for pointing me in the right direction.. I was able to accquire the right box for the 5",5 screw .357 Magnum.. .. ( I'm gitting deeper and DEEPER :D )..

The box is as crisp as I have seen.. a light cleaning with REN Pre-Lim.. a few coats of REN WAX.. and here it is..

Now the never ending search for the " Tools and Paperwork";):D

"crisp" is exactly the right word for both gun and box!

Smokin' detail on your pictures too. Nice post.

Jim..

No different than a gun.. The Pre-Lim ( or Flitz) applied gently.. just enough pressure to remove any grime or dirt.. with a very soft cloth ( OLD tee shirt ) buffed off with a micro fiber cloth..

Then REN Wax.. applied with your fingers let dry and buff with the a different clean micro fiber cloth.. or Tee shirt.

( Wax ON... Wax OFF):D

I have done all my boxes in this manner it works great.. proving that REN Wax is good and will not harm anything I have ever tried it on..

I generally don't chase boxes for naked guns I buy, BUT I really like the gold boxes with blue lettering!!! That is a really nice one and I congratulate you on this one. And on your quest for the rest of the stuff that goes with it.

Very nice box and gun, they look as new. Nice job! If you told the average guy that you wax a cardboard box they would think your nuts!
