Im not sure whether it's been asked yet or not, but anyway...is there a barrel replacement for the sw40ve? I'm sure the mags would work, but I'd like to find a .357 barrel if possible. Do they exist? Thanks.

I do not know if anyone makes them, but I would be interested in one also.
I asked the same question last year, but received no answer.

Bummer. From what I can gather, S&W only made a few hundred sw357ve's and finding one is a rarity. Barrels made by the factory are prolly long gone. I wonder if somebody on here has one, or knows an after market maker? :)

S&W had spare barrels for a while. I know this because I bought one. I had intended to convert my 40 over to 357. I just forgot that my 40 was a full size and all of the 357SIGMAs were compacts.

While I was looking for a cheap 40 compact to use as a donor, I found a original 357SIGMA pistol and bought it. I still have the barrel, not too sure why I kept it.

BTW, 1500 357SIGMAs were produced. They are out there.

That is exciting news. I was chewing fat with a fellow on another thread, happens to be a moderator, and is a verifiable S&W employee. He told me 350 were produced. But, Id like to think that you are correct. I've checked arms list, and there is nothing for sale there. Any ideas?
